Executive Director - Amanda Reuter

Amanda has called Arcadia, Florida home for the last three years. Growing up in rural Michigan, Amanda had a love for agriculture and small communities. Amanda has found an everlasting love for rural DeSoto County and its agricultural and small business population. Amanda is married to Louis; he works at the Arcadia Post Office. They have one son.

Amanda earned her B.S. degree from Liberty University with a focus on health and social sciences. She attended Liberty's Rawlings School of Divinity and earned a Master of Divinity. Amanda serves as Community Outreach and Special Events Ministry Director at First Baptist Arcadia. She also serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Chaplain Candidate. 

Administrative Assistant - Latwania Peterson

Latwania was born and raised in Arcadia. She attended DeSoto High School and is a part of Class #2002. She has raised her three children here and plans on remaining an Arcadia resident forever! She is engaged to Clyde; they will wed in November 2024.

Latwania earned her B.S. degree in Human Services from Springfield College in Tampa, FL. She is continuing her education at Colorado Christian University studying Psychology. Prior to Hope DeSoto LTRG, Latwania worked in the DeSoto County School District as an ESE. She enjoys serving the community and shares hope with everyone she speaks with through her bright smile.
